water info |
As this plant is from a very dry desert it likes to go totally dry between waterings. Interestingly, unlike most adenium, this one tends to wake up and want to grow during the winter. If your socotranum does so it’s best to follow it’s lead and water more during winter and back off watering when summer heat comes on and it sheds its leaves. If you give the caudex (swollen base) a squeeze and it starts to feel squishy give some water and you’ll find that the plant regains turgidity. |
